The Englewood Park Takeover Continues…4 parks down, 3 more to go!! Our next stop on the So Fresh Saturdays Summer Tour is Ogden Park – 6500 S. Racine – on August 5th from 3pm-7pm. There will be FREE Food, Live Performances, Art, a Resource Fair and more!
So Fresh Saturdays is a resident driven “edu-tainment” series that will showcase various artistic expressions and educational workshops that will focused on youth, entrepreneurship, hip hop, media, social networks, community activism, and culturally relevant history using music, film, and art! As a part of the Chicago Park District’s Night Out in the Parks, this series is designed for all ages in an effort to create a safe space in the parks of our community!

We are NOW accepting school supplies (book bags, crayons, pencil boxes, pencils, paper, folders, notebooks, etc.) and monetary donations for our So Fresh Saturday at Hamilton Park – Back-to-School event scheduled for August 26th. We can pick up the supplies from a location of your choice or you can drop them off at the R.A.G.E office located at 6620 S. Union Ave any time before Friday, August 25th. Our goal is to give away 1,000 book bags packed with school supplies. Help us send the kids back to school the right way!
