Well join the Greater Englewood Community Action Council (GE-CAC) meeting tonight at Robeson High School! The GE-CAC welcomes participation at that monthly meeting and is still recruiting members for subcommittee work. The meeting starts at 6 p.m., Robeson High School located 6835 S. Normal Blvd. Refreshments served at 5:30pm!

The Pastors of Englewood will be holding their 18th annual community Prayer Breakfast & Awards ceremony on 6-4-11 held at Greater Salem Baptist Church, 215 W. 71st St. 8:30a.m.-Noon. Hosted by Pastor Leon Jenkins. Donation only $25.00. Come support our bright stars in the neighborhood!!
24th Neighborworks Block by Block Beautification day in Englewood
We are looking for volunteers to come out and help with the flower and shrub planting at a local church within the growing Block Club Network. Help us with the planting of flowers and small shrubs in the triangles at the corners of each participating block club network and with seniors who need your assistance. Help us celebrate two newly formed Block Clubs! There will be food, fun, festivities and lots to do. fun, food, and the sense of community pride and empowerment. Be a part of the vision by showing your community pride and spirit! Come be apart of the Clean, Green, West Englewood Beautification Team.
