The Re-Up Our Future Scholarship was created in 2021 to support students from Englewood and surrounding communities in pursuing higher education. The scholarship aims to uplift young people who demonstrate resilience, community engagement, and academic potential. Re-Up Our Future’s commitment to empowering the next generation is reflective of R.A.G.E.'s core values of community investment and growth.
Since its launch, we have awarded over $50,000 in scholarships. The Re-Up Our Future Scholarship Program offers a variety of awards, each tailored to support students with different backgrounds and educational goals:
Samaiya Butler HBCU Scholarship – This scholarship is awarded to students who attend or plan to attend Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). It emphasizes the importance of HBCUs in nurturing Black excellence, community, and leadership.
Re-Up Neighbor Scholarship – This scholarship is specifically for students who live in the Englewood community, supporting local youth who contribute positively to their communities and aspire to make an impact through higher education.
Englewood High School Scholarship – Awarded to students who attend high school in the Greater Englewood community (Zip Code 60621/60636) who have demonstrated a commitment to community service.
