This virtual cohort is specially curated for individuals interested in purchasing and occupying their own 2 or 3-flat in Englewood! Buy the Block Fast Track launches Monday, November 1st, and will continue for 3 weeks. Participants will meet for 4 different sessions.

Good evening Alderman Sawyer. Thank you for returning my phone call and talking with me today. I appreciate your efforts to provide a quick response to your constituents of the 6th Ward. Per our conversation today in regards to the November 4th zoning meeting about the proposed gas station at Shepherd’s Hope Auditorium, you agreed that you are going to get in writing the promises that were made from both owners of the proposed gas station on 67th Halsted which were: Scholarships to our local Englewood cps schools, giving of a car, food during events and other mentioned give a-ways Per Mahammad Abdul and Rev Harrell promised fresh produced to be sold in the gas station. Also, we need the data of the successes and or failures of other existing gas stations in other communities. I also want to mention that Englewood does not need a 24 hour gas station because it will only draw late night trouble. Thank you.
