As a part of our newly created “RAGE Neighbor Fund” launching this fall, we are excited to announce that our association will be offering two NEW scholarship awards in the amount of $1000 for students who reside in Englewood or West Englewood!

We are committed to making a meaningful impact in the community, and benefitting the lives of first year college students by providing a one time monetary scholarship to attain their personal and professional goals and to lead change in their communities. R.A.G.E. is encouraging all incoming college students from the Englewood community to apply! Applications will be open and accepted starting today, Thursday, July 1st and closed on July 30th at Midnight. Awardees will be notified the first week of August and honored at the Englewood Stomp the Yard event on August 7th. 

We will be awarding two different scholarships in the amounts of $1000.00

The Samaiya Butler HBCU Scholarship

The “Samaiya Butler HBCU scholarship” is a scholarship that was created to honor Samaiya Butler, an Englewood resident and long time R.A.G.E member/youth intern since the tender age of 10. Due to her commitment to Englewood and community service she earned the Bonner Scholarship which was a full ride at Spelman College. Samaiya Butler graduated from Spelman in 2020, and is also a Lindblom High School Alum. Samaiya Butler is very dedicated and committed to community service and giving back to her community. This scholarship will be awarded a one time monetary award to a student who resides in Englewood or West Englewood and will be attending a Historical Black College or University. The RAGE Neighbor Scholarship

The RAGE Neighbor Scholarship as a part of our Re-Up program will provide students who reside in Englewood or West Englewood, with a one time $1000 scholarship who are enrolled in any accredited college or university. Access the link to apply here – https://form.jotform.com/211806366709157
