Last month, Englewood Arts Collective put together a winning proposal to beautify the viaduct on 58th & Halsted St in Englewood with a mural for Mayor Lori Lightfoot INVEST South/West initiative, which is an unprecedented community improvement plan to marshal resources of multiple City departments, community orgs, and corporate partners towards 10, historically disinvested neighborhoods on Chicago’s South & West Sides.
