Our association is taking the necessary steps to maintain the health and safety of our members and residents of Englewood as our nation deals with the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore we are cancelling and suspending our upcoming meetings and activities scheduled this week such as our Englewood Village Meeting, the Buy the Block Housing U series and our Open House. We will be monitoring and taking heed from our local officials to determine the best way to move forward in the upcoming weeks.
The City has provides several tips for staying healthy including:
- Clean your hands often with an alcohol-based hand sanitizer or wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
- If you are sick, stay home, unless you are seeking medical care. Look out for symptoms such as fever, cough, or difficulty breathing.
- While sick, cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash, and wash your hands.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.

This is a difficult time for us and many of our members who are strong community champions. The idea of social distancing and feeling disconnected from our neighbors can be a struggle.

We want to make sure we are providing information as it comes to us about what people are doing to remain civically engaged. Please stay tuned for updates from our association in the next upcoming weeks. For now, we wish you all safety, peace and patience as we move forward as a community. Should you have any questions for us, please feel free to call us at 866-845-1032 or email joinrage@gmail.com.
Sincerely,
Asiaha Butler, Executive Director of RAGE
