Tonight, Thursday, August 9th, 5:30pm-7pm, join concerned, passionate Englewood residents and other community stakeholders as we meet to plan peace promoting activites in Englewood at Canaan Community Church located 1701 W. Garfield Blvd. We will discuss helping Maurice “Pha Tal” Perkins’s organization Think Outside Da Block organize Englewood’s next critical mass night bike ride, Roll N’ Peace – The Remix., our plans to host community healing conversations next year, as well as provide updates on our upcoming 2018 “Jobs on the Block,” an employment fair held outside on a block that recently experienced gun violence.
