Less than a week ago, Chicago Magazine published Asiaha Butler’s powerful commentary titled, “CPS Says Englewood Residents Support a Plan to Close Its Schools. Here’s What Really Happened” In the article, Butler explains how Chicago Public Schools misused the Englewood Community Action Council’s school improvement plan as justification to close four of its highschools.
