Asiaha Butler’s Chicago Magazine Op-Ed about Englewood School Closures is Trending

Less than a week ago, Chicago Magazine published Asiaha Butler’s powerful commentary titled, “CPS Says Englewood Residents Support a Plan to Close Its Schools. Here’s What Really Happened”  In the article, Butler explains how Chicago Public Schools misused the Englewood Community Action Council’s school improvement plan as justification to close four of its highschools. She also, eloquently highlights that no where in their CAC’s strategic plan did they suggest closing schools. To read the full article online, click HERE
