The Englewood Quality of Life Plan’s Public Safety Task Force’s Rock The Beat Initiative is moving to West Englewood! We did great work in BEAT 723, now we are expanding our reach to BEAT 725/726 as we bring peace to 69th & Wood on Thursday, October 5th from 4pm-7pm.
Rock The Beat consists of popping up on a block with free food, music, fun activities, and resources to help promote a peaceful and safe environment. All are welcome to join us and any resources for residents and youth are appreciated!
The Englewood Public Safety Task Force is dedicated to implementing four strategies that will create a community where neighbors respect, trust, and forgive each other in building shared accountability for a peaceful and safe environment. To learn more about these four strategies and to get an update on our public safety efforts come out to our next meeting on Thursday, October 12th from 5:30pm-7pm at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church located on 415 W. Englewood Ave.
The Task Force currently has 84 members and we are always looking for more dedicated people to join forces to improve public safety in Englewood!
