Brotherhood, Barbers, and Barbecue Unite on July 30th at Ogden Park from 10am-5pm!
The second annual Brotherhood of Barbers Cease Fire event gives Barbers the opportunity to give back to youth and seniors in the Greater Englewood community. Last year, 54 Barbers cut 546 heads saving the people of Englewood money while displaying true barber love and community support. This year, the event has over 100 barbers signed up and ready to provide FREE haircuts to youth ages 7 to 17 and seniors on Sunday, July 30th from 10am to 5pm at Ogden Park (6500 S. Racine).
The Cease Fire event is meant to inspire Barbers to be superheroes in their neighborhoods by volunteering their time to support and save their community one haircut at a time.
Brotherhood of Barbers are still seeking barbers, barber students, volunteers, senior buildings, homeless shelters, and child care organizations to participate. Anyone interested can call Mr. Powell for more information at 312-479-7125.
That is so sweet! Right on brothers!
