ROCK THE BEAT – Peace On The Block Event – July 20th!

Rock The Beat is Thursday, July 20th from 4pm to 7pm on 66th & Union. 

The Englewood QLP Public Safety Task Force successfully brought peace to 66th & Union on July 6th and is back to host another Rock The Beat event Thursday, July 20th. Rock The Beat is designed to deter violent crimes by providing resources, free food, music and fun activities to blocks in high crime Beats. The group is currently focused on combating the violence in Beat 723.

The Public Safety Task Force has received an alert of an active war happening in the area that includes 66th & Union. As a result, the task force will be popping up again on 66th & Union this Thursday, July 20th from 4pm to 7pm!  All positive people and resources are welcome to come out and support this safety initiative.  

 Let’s rock the block for peace on Thursday, July 20th!

The goal of the Public Safety Task Force is to create a community where neighbors respect, trust, and forgive each other in building shared accountability for a peaceful and safe environment.
