It’s that time of year again to get our hands dirty for the Greater Englewood Unity Day in connection with Chicago’s Citywide Clean and Green Volunteer Clean Up on Saturday, April 22, 2017.
For the past five years, residents, schools, organizations, businesses and elected officials in Greater Englewood have been joining together in an effort to increase our unity as we clean up our neighborhood and end with a celebration.
If you, your family, friends and neighbors want to clean up a block or an area of Englewood please complete this form to sign-up – https://goo.gl/forms/Sp5ZLc5jZryfI1bx2. Please complete the form by April 14th.
Don’t forget to call 3-1-1 to place an order for clean up tools (rakes, shovels, brooms, bags) for your site/block. The deadline to order cleanup tools is Wednesday, April 19th.
There will be a brief planning meeting about the Unity Day Cleanup on Thursday, April 13th starting at 3pm at Imagine Englewood IF – 730 W 69th, so that we may once again link our efforts to show unity and encourage neighbors to take pride in their community.
