The Resident Association of Greater Englewood also know as R.A.G.E. is back with the Englewood Park “PEACE” Tour which will continue on to Ogden Park – 6500 S. Racine on July 30th from 3pm-7pm! There is free food, entertainment, resources, workshops and more.
At Ogden Park, we will have a special performance from Aztec Dance Chicago and a flash mob performance from the audience. Our stage is graced by many artists whom also served as activists and communty leaders such as K.W.O.E., John the Author, T-Y Green, Legends of Chicago Hip Hop, Jaymal Green and more. There will be activities for smaller children such as face painting, balloon animals and arts & craft.
So Fresh Saturdays is a community driven “edu-tainment” festival that showcases various artistic expressions and educational workshops that will focused on youth, entrepreneurship, hip hop, media, social networks, community activism, and culturally relevant history using music, film, and art! As a part of the Chicago Park District’s Night Out in the Parks, this series is designed for all ages in an effort to create a safe space in the parks of our community! The entire So Fresh Saturday tour is FREE & open to the public! Bring the whole family for fun, music, food and more!
