We back for round 2 of the Englewood Park “PEACE” Tour – So Fresh Saturdays at Ogden Park – 6500 S. Racine on July 11th from 3pm-8pm! There is free food, entertainment, resources, workshops and more.
At Ogden Park, we will have a special youth only workshop at 3:30pm facilitated by R.A.G.E. member and resident of Englewood, Abena Vickie Hurston. The workshop is titled Urban Talk for Youth: Peer Discussion on Crime. In addition, to the workshop there will be performances by many artists whom also served as activists and communty leaders such as K.W.O.E., T-Y Green, Jovan Landry, Legends of Chicago Hip Hop, Jaymal Green and more. There will be activities for smaller children such as face painting, balloon animals and arts & craft.
