A joint meeting with the Chicago Educational Facilities Task Force will be held – MONDAY, FEB. 24th – 9:30AM – 11:30AM – Bilandic State Office Building – 160 N. LaSalle, Room N-505 (5th Floor) – The Task Force invites Public Comment on the future re-use of closed and vacant school buildings. The CEFTF is requesting public input and testimonies that address:
— Your recommendations for an effective and inclusive Public/Community Input Process to help determine the fate of vacant school facilities across the city
and/or
— Any specific proposals that local stakeholders may have for the future use of these public buildings!
