On Wednesday, March 27, 2013, the City of Chicago Department of Housing & Economic Development, in partnership with the Local Initiatives Support Corporation Chicago (LISC/Chicago), New Communities Program (NCP) organizations, and the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP), will host a public open house for the draft Green Healthy Neighborhoods (GHN) land use plan at Urban Prep Academies Englewood Campus. The GHN land use plan will guide decision-making and investment for years to come.
At this pubic open house, the GHN land use plan strategies and recommendations will be available for public review and comment before beginning the formal review process. Representatives from the City of Chicago and the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) will be available to answer questions and provide clarification.
Local residetns, business owners, community leaders, and other interested stakeholders are encouraged to attend this exciting community planning event.
