There are tons of fantastic events happening in Englewood this weekend….

Here’s a recap!!

Friday, October 26th – Celebration & Poetry at PEACE Center – 6455 S. Peoria Ave. 6pm-11pm – Poetry, Free food and drinks specials. This event is 21+

Friday, October 26th – Englewood Film Festival – The second Englewood Film Festival opens Friday, October 26, with a reception and screening of I Ain’t Scared of You—A Tribute to Bernie Mac at Kennedy-King College Auditorium, and continues Saturday and Sunday with screenings at Chatham 14 and Team Englewood Community Academy.  For venue locations, ticket information, and a complete schedule see englewoodfilmfest.com

Saturday, October 27th – 9am-Noon – Imagine Englewood If Host Make a Difference Day – Coat and Book Drive – 730 W. 69th St.

Saturday, October 27th & Sunday, October 28th – “What’s Understood Doesn’t Need To Be Explained” a play presented by various parents of Englewood. The tickets are $5 in advance and $10 at the door, @ Lindblom High School, 6130 S.
