Join Chicago Public Media, Mikva Challenge, and the Project on Civic Reflection for a participatory discussion about the power and the limits of participation in all its forms.

Tuesday, October 30, 2012, 6–7:30 pm at the WBEZ South Side Bureau located in Englewood at 6957 S. Halsted St.

With the November elections right in front of us and all around us, consider joining your fellow Chicagoans to think and talk about how we participate — and what we hope for when we do. Voting is one way to get involved and be heard, but how does it stand next to other forms of involvement and action? How should we act to improve our city and our world, and what, however we express ourselves, are we hoping to get done?
