Pastor Bobby L. Rush, and the Jewels of Beloved would like to invite you and family to the “Boys to Men. Black Women Raising Black Boys in Today’s World” forum on Saturday, May 12, 2012 from 12-2pm at 6430 South Harvard. Noted Child Psychiatrist Dr. Carl Bell will lead this powerful and important discussion. He will be joined by mothers, grandmothers and young men who will speak their truth in the safe environment of our church.
We know it takes a village/community to raise a child. Our village is being called to help women to raise great fathers, sons, husbands and community leaders. Help us to encourage women to participate in this event. In future forums we will focus on raising exceptional African American girls. We know that the fates of both girls and boys are inextricably linked. Join the discussion!!
