Here are few meetings/events happening throughout the Greater Englewood neighborhood.

Education

Teamwork Englewood Education Taskforce Bi-Monthly Meeting-6/14 – 5:30pm
Learn about the taskforce educational activities in Englewood, Tuesday, June 14th from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Kennedy King College, Room 100W.

Safety

Beat 722/723 Meeting – 6/14 – 6:30pm

If you are interested in networking with other residents and learning more about what’s happening in your neighborhood attend the Beat 722/723 meeting next Tuesday, June 14th at 06:30 pm, St. Benedict the African, 6550 South Harvard. Englewood Back to School Parade Planning Meeting – 6/16 – 6pm

The Englewood Back to School Parade (EBSP) still needs more community participation in planning this historical event! Englewood Back to School Parade Planning Meeting is Thursday, June 16th at 6pm – St. Benard Hospital – 326 West 64th Street. Gardens

SPECIAL TOWN HALL MEETING ON COMMUNITY GARDENS WITH LOCAL ELECTED OFFICIALS-6/18-11am

Saturday, June 18th at 11:00am the Greater Englewood Garden Association invited all the elected officials for the Greater Englewood Area to a Town Hall meeting at Kennedy King College in the Black Box theater, 734 W. 63rd Street. There will also be workshops earlier in the morning that day, run by Teamwork Englewood and their Food Task force.   Please invite everyone you know who wants to garden in Englewood so they can come and tell the elected officials how important this is to the community.

There are plenty of ways to be involved and give back to our neighborhood,  share your gifts to help improve the quality of life in our neighborhood!
